Firefighters for Healing
Firefighters for Healing has created Camp RED, for burn survivors between 6-16 years of age to have the opportunity to live beyond the scars and to be kids again. Camp RED offers a variety of active and passive activities in the most beautiful setting, including canoeing, archery, trust, swimming, boating, horseback riding and more! Campers will be surrounded by other survivors who have shared experiences, similar injuries, feelings, fears and concerns. Camp RED staff celebrate each camper and encourage their emotional healing. The hope is that a camper's time at Camp RED will help them Realize Every Dream for a better tomorrow!!
Campers will create new friendships and memories to last a lifetime. Firefighters for Healing has dreamed of running a camp from many years. This is now a reality made possible in 2017 thanks to the generosity of sponsors, supporters, volunteers, family, friends and collaborators in the community.
